Book Walks, Book Talks Program

Chicago Ridge Public Library located at 10400 S. Oxford Ave in Chicago Ridge presents Teacher-Parent Workshops. The Hot Chocolate Series will highlight our books on the Parent-Teacher Shelf. The workshops will be on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 4:00 until 5:00 p.m. for teachers, parents, and homeschoolers. Teachers will earn one CPDU for each program that they attend. Participants will enjoy hot chocolate and cookies in this make-and-take workshop setting. The workshops are sponsored in part by Otis Spunkmeyer. Register for workshops in this series by calling 708/423-7753, sending an email to kids@chicagoridge.lib.il.us, or by stopping by Youth Services.

 We have Computer Programs that enable you to create amazing symbol-based communication & educational materials.

 What to Do With the Kid Who…: based on the book by Kay Burke           
 Strategies & techniques to help tackle the critical challenges of today’s differentiated classroom and diverse student body.
